what is the best age to take y/bs away from the nest . i have 2 at 23 days and are starting to pick up food by themselves, also parents have mated again and are starting to nest in another nest bowl i put in their box.Thanks.

can a cock and hen hatch and raise 3 eggs in the same nest or should i remove 1 egg.Thanks.

I have a pure white rapido busscheart hen thats just won an online show on another forum (not getting rid though, shes a cracker.)

we have had our rescue greyhound for 3 years now, hes very calm even with our cat and rabbit, great dogs greyhounds, good luck with him.

As a complete novice to racing pigeons, i am interested to learn as much as i can in all aspects of the sport. This thread seems to have hit on a topic that some people believe in and others dont, but everyone is entitled to an opinion be it for or against and it is good for a novice like myself to hear both sides of the story. I still do not fully understand eyesign or what to look for and think it will take a good few years to have an honest opinion for myself, so i will keep an open mind on the subject.Thankyou all for your answers and opinions i am sure i will have a lot more questions before the start of the new season. Hope you all have a great season next year which ever races your in, for now i will just enjoy my pigeons and look forward to racing against some of you in the yorkshire middle route combine. how many hens can you mate to one cock bird as i have had a couple gone missing while flying out the loft and as left me with one cock and four hens. will this be enough to build a team next year or will i need to get some more.

Thanks guys i will get on to the club i am joining and see if i can get them vaccinated with 2 members in attendance, ive not joined the club yet on advice from the secretary as he says it would be better to join at the start of the new season then im not paying for just a few months then paying again next season.
