With all respect robbie this I my first ob season but was in and out of keeping the birds with my old man..I Neva feel sorry for the birds that can't make It through to th west coz I think if 1 of my birds can make it why can't the rest but when I it comes to the big national races it's always the same guys at the top in the west section,d hay mr & Mars Elliot Jim Hannah Gareth rankin etc these are the fanciers I look up to and respect and inspire to be up there with them but I'd have a major disagreement with any fancier that says it's as easy to get bids on the nite in the west as it is in the east(all u you have to do do is check back national results)and I'm enjoying my first ob season emensly..I'm sorry for all the top west sec fanciers I've missed out,c'mon the west section boys..atb for the rest of the season m8,kenny..and by the way macaloneys only beating me coz he's got beta birds. :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0137-clapping:

Well guys IMO why should the lanarkshire boys support the snfc when they do very little for us,jmo after all I'm only a newbie what do I know compared to the national fliers in the south and east who seem to get all of the first timers and drops..jmo,flying into west lanarkshire is different ball Gane

This my first ob season and getting to this racepoint was my target,gonae have a wee bet on them aswell,birds have done me proud especially the latebreads which I've now stopped,so I'm very much looking forward to the derby and would love to make it on to the result..won't be betting to much on them though as there's a lot of good fliers in lanarkshire and don't want to donate my hard earned money to them..lol,so here's hoping a get a timer as it will def be a yearling and good luck to all the men sending their birds this week,atb kenny

I agree with that m8 but I'm quite lucky at making them disappear,they call me dynamo when it comes to they bassas m8,I've only lost 7birds in the racing season most of them lst wk so I've been very lucky that way,but at the same time only started with wee team,big losses could finish me

Thanks guys I was just thinking there was nothing out my birds on return from race and I know I'm very inexperienced and wasn't happy being so far behind also can't see any training tommorow,thought they needed a wee tightner feel they're homing and not racing..also came home from club on Sunday and wild cat had been at my lofts so can't have open bowl till I catch it which I will..anyway I appreciate youse taking the time to give me advice coz if u don't ask you'll Neva learn,cheers guys atb Well guys if I've made a c..nt of it which I'm now thinking I have I'll be at yer lofts wae the begging bowl n some rings,haha

Took all my birds to anniesland.this morning as I feel they're not fit enough,only have 10 yearlings and four latebreads that I've stopped,do youse think I'm doing th right thing or over training then as my first three birds were ones fro yesterday's race..any ponion welcome

I've only got yearlings as it's my first ob season so al see what comes from Saturday then make a decision,if I think I can get a race or two out of them I'll b sending some but won't be sending just for the sake of it..I know it's about building a team but a believe if you can get a yearling going for you then keep it going,anyway there's only so much grass I can cut on a Saturday ..loll...suppose if I get a stinker I can go up and watch ma old mans birds
