    Yb training

A lot around me have been training for a few weeks . I plan to start the end of next week how’s everyone’s training going what times of day are you training to avoid peregrines are you having them out before training etc
  2. Yes good point I am adding a better larger aviary so thinking feed in that for youngsters . I think I will do the same for all of them apart from the race Cocks
  3. Do members feed once a day after flying ? If so how much would you give and of what I tend to feed just under a quarter ounce in the morning and a ounce at night I loft fly after work at night . Having been tested high dust allergy I wouldn’t mind feeding once a day so another less bit of time in the loft
  4. My family is about 60/70 per cent FVW from Ingram and Langton they are the most consistent birds I have had in my loft ever they have been crossed with Zwol Heremans Ceuleman and produced winners can’t fault them

    Ets advice

One thing I have discovered is Unikon response time to emails is terrible I can’t think how they survive as a business. Various emails over 3 days phone calls made at various times and nothing in reply . The service has certainly put me off

    Ets advice

Thank you so upnto £400 will give me the clock and a pad ? Plus any connections etc how much would the clubs requirements be ? I think I would have to pay for that as the clubs not keen on ETS and I would think doubtful that they club will invest i equipment

    Ets advice

Not had the Ets before but thinking of getting one the cub doesn’t have one either so I would probably have to buy any requirements the club would need as I would have to just race for fed honours but use my cub mark what ones do members recommend and what kind of cost would I be looking at for basic set up thanks for any advice
  19. Yes that’s a decent one it had the wind a bit stronger than it turned out but direction spot on
  20. Thanks but we tend to race 90 per cent of the time on tne A1 route

    First race

Cheers mate that’s kind of you I have had a bit of luck I think I was gutted to lose him loft flying he was 2nd combine last year I don’t always send to combines as I’m not keen on certain things so it was pleasing to get him . He has been a real good honest racer then 2 days later I lost a yearling hen . i lost a yearling hen off the loft 2 days before him that raced as a baby but not this year but I didn’t really see the warning signs .The thing that was strange is in both circumstances the other birds were not scared ( like after a BOP) or marked by wires as I thought with the east winds maybe that was the reason as I do have pylons about 1/2 mile away over the fields . i am still looking for him every day but I know he’s gone really thanks you your post mate
