. 5 October 2015 - 00:03 AM Hope this works have been trying to take a photo of roxy the last couple of nights but she likes to fight anything that's pointed at her . Just finished filling my watering can for my pigeons for tomorrow when roxy decided to take part managed to get three photos before she got the iPad :emoticon-0136-giggle: . Attached Image. What's the big vets say ??? . When the growth in the crop ( CANKER) gets to a certain size only a small amount of goodness from feeding will pass through the proventriculus . At this stage this is when you will hear some guys saying that their pigeons are picking at droppings on the floor . WHY because the pigeon thinks that the problem is with the Gizard OMHO .

Our pigeons eat/drink . And this is what will transpire next . The only thing to stop this would be a growth after the crop called ------ .

Have posted this a few times on other threads about YBS . Like everything our pigeons get infected with there is always stages . Could somebody with this repeated illness please post what they first experience with the young birds and what it's like when totally taken control of the pigeon.

Wood is a natural sponge and will absorb all the bad from the pigeons droppings. Plastic floor could somebody please post a photo . Cocci thrives in water closely followed by canker.

Always like to up the feeding when rearing young birds. So will give them 50% barley and 50% layers pellets. And gem ultra vits twice a week. One thing I would like to say if your old birds are showing signs to their face that they are feeding young birds for me that is not a good sign of feeding program. When you have correct amount of feeding in front of your birds old birds faces will always be clean and the young birds will never be heard oh and I always have a pocket of peanuts when I go to my loft .
