Well done to all those who timed from the Gold Cup! A special well done to G & B Hunter from Dunfermline who timed their good hen just before 7pm last night, now a Gold Award winner!

The way the birds were acting on arrival at loft told me that a Falcon attack was possible. I liberated at 5.30am thinking they would have a better chance of getting home safely seeing as it was their 1st toss, how wrong was i! Its never ending and sadly it will only get worse!

Took them to same place i always take them and ive never had a problem before. They were coming in ones and twos all day, from just 5 miles!

I know how you feel John, i took 72 young birds for their 1st toss to Rosyth this morning at 5.30am, approx 5 miles. At 2pm i only had 35 home! Cant prove it but reckon a Falcon attack once again!

England to get beat 2-1.

I can assure you its not just you, its never ending and sadly it will only get worse! We will never know the true amount of Falcons that are in Scotland alone, but one thing is for sure, its ALOT more than the RSPB will ever let us know about!

3 days ago a member of our club let out his 55 youngsters at 6am, shortly after a Falcon attacked them scattering them everywhere, 12 hours later only 5 returned, 3 days later hes up to 18 back, no more, a loss of 37 youngsters, FROM THE LOFT! No wonder members are leaving the sport!!!

Sent 10 birds to Newbury with the SNFC, a distance of 338 miles to myself. I always look forward to these National races! Good luck to all involved and fingers crossed for a great race!

We are definately at Wakefield Brian, dont no about the weather though but Kingdom Fed up at 11am from same race point.

I have 6 birds in total injured by BOP in my loft, but how many were killed on their way home from training/racing this year alone?

Good question this one! I agree with Blue Chec Pied about the mirror, how very true! Ive had alot advice but the one that sticks with me and ive heard often is " You get out of Pigeons what you put into Pigeons" My Auld Man told me this alot!
