Yet again another sticky race with poor returns.
  8. Dunfermline Club; 9 members sent 201 birds to Alnwick with the Fife Fed, good luck to all that sent!
  9. Whilst doing the clocks on saturday after the race one of our club members said he heard that the North West Fed doos didnt clear for 45 mins, but after reading some of the times obviously this isnt the case, i apologise for any confusion!
  10. I can only go on what i saw, in my opinion, the North West Fed clashed with The Fife Fed, North West were up at 0815,(didnt clear for 45 mins), then Fife Fed went at 9am.
  11. Sorry to hear that Brian! Hope more work their way back! Its been a nightmare 1st young bird race for alot of us. No one is more west than me in the Fed and ive "NEVER" in 19 years keeping doos seen so many of them coming from the west from a Kelso race which is so east, in a "No Wind" Liberation!
  12. How many have you got home now Brian? All my birds that came home at weekend came from the West(Stirling area), think they have clashed with the North West doos, im down 21 from 45 sent, all well trained. Well peed off!!!
  13. From Kelso with the Fife Fed, no more than 55 miles, 3 members of Dunfermline Club lost 50 birds between them, all well well trained! Dont know what the answer is anymore!!!
  14. Dunfermline RPC. Result of Kelso Y/B 04/08/12. 4 members sent 111 birds. 1st: A.McInnes vel:1222 2nd: W&D Kennedy vel:921 3rd: F. WELL DONE ALASTAIR MCINNES ON WINNING THE RACE AND THE NOM! A VERY DIFFICULT RACE WITH VERY POOR RETURNS. 4/30 4/31 11/45 3/5.
  15. Dunfermline Club, 4 members sent 111 birds to Kelso with the Fife Fed, good luck to all!
  16. Sent 45 to Kelso, 55 miles. Just hope the weather is kind to give our young birds a chance to get home, fingers crossed!
  17. I agree with you Brian, but the weather this weekend looks really bad with lots rain forecast, if the Fife Fed do go tomorrow my birds wont be there, id rather jump them into 2nd or even 3rd race, weather permitting, than send to first with a bad forecast. Ive found out in the past that even young birds dont mind the jump as long as they are well trained. JMO.
  18. Im thinking exactly the same, im taking no chances with youngsters with a bad weather forecast for both saturday and sunday, ive lost enough birds this year, in the hut they will stay!
  19. Was hoping to send 45 youngsters to Kelso with the Fife Fed but dont think we will get a race due to the bad weather forecast, lots and lots rain! Oh well, always next week!
  20. Took my 60 youngsters for their 2nd toss today, a distance of approx 10 miles, most of them took between 45 mins to an hour to home, still waiting on a few. Perfect weather conditions for training!
  21. Well done Jock Scott! Great flying!
  22. Totally agree! Top Top fancier with Top Top Doos! Well done Jocky King!
