Just a bit of good fortune. I was rushing out the loft after hearing two birds I had out scatter off the landing board, the white bird flew passed me at head height with the BOP hard on its tail, it actually hit the bird knocking some feathers out, at the same time I let out a shout, and the white doo dived down to the edge of the park next to an iron railing only 30Mts away , and the BOP just made it over the top of the railing, I walked round and picked the bird up and it did not move a muscle. I t fully recovered as it was banging to get out the next day, it has now been returned to its owner.

Hi all, hope you enjoyed the night, we knew that some members could not make the presentation, so to save some time on a tight schedule, we never called their names out, as we would have had to have asked someone in the hall to come forward to pick up the trophy. So it was not disrespect, just a time saver.

Like to take this opportunity to congratulate the M & M duo of the SNFC. Firstly, to Mary Pryde for the excellent organisation and the terrific display of trophies shining like stars. Secondly to Mary Thomson the PRO, for the excellent manner in which she carried out her duties, in what was her first year in office.
