all the above , but when i look back , my answer is first and foremost is the fancier , the best stock i have ,has come from people i have got to know as friends ,people i trust , and who have offered me help by giving there best ,and hopefully the new stock i have will breed the same quality i have found before ,because they have come from friends who again i trust .

i have looked , and cant see the can (theres a few in there) but the nearest shade i can see is now called "putting green" and is listed as a relaxing colour , i know many widowhood fliers who go for this colour scheme specifically .

very true John , my old supplier was a good racing man also , and i never kept many pigeons back then , in fact i purchased 3 sacks of corn on that visit ,a gerry + , a Versa Laga widowhood mix and a Hi energy , the latter lasted me 3 seasons

seen it advertised in the BHW.

yes i do JAM , but with the fore-thought my loft was 700 miles further North , and with a mix of un-tested pigeons within , and no specific routine , all very diffrent i am sure than the fancier in a country with a better climate ,an established routine and a family of pigeons.

aye he,s a busy boy right enough , i have sent him congratulation,s earlier today .

i have used a Dulux for kitchens and bathrooms ,and from memory it was "apple green" , still have half a pot in the workshop , if i remember ,tommorow , i will take a look . no guarantees its the same shade every body else uses tho . .

i know Phil flies his racer,s from home , and he is in partnership with the "show" pigeons , they have won best in show at the recent "Winner Show 2011" and have a few entries due to this into Blackpool show in January Bill.

no JAM , in all honesty , i do , but when i started i wasnt aware that MY pigeons were diffrent , MY loft wasnt the same as theres ,I lived in a diffrent location etc , may sound obvious , but not to me as a novice

well you know Davey ,in my first club and my present one (have been a member in 3 clubs since 2004 when i started) i am and we are furthest West , you can win races , just not as often with the restrictions of locality . jmho.

that was the same as my old club before i moved up , was very hard to win , especially when the top 2 fanciers were 3/4 of a mile nearer the racepoint than me and further East .
