a tough old race today for the youngsters ,at clocks 2 hours after first arrivals ,some only 50 % returns others better ,but some worse 1st J.McNeil (Jim) vel 1243. 2nd Mr & Mrs Burgess vel 1241. 3rd Ian Rowley (Spider) vel 1230. 4th D.Gillan (Davey) vel 1223. 5th J.McNeil vel 1216. 6th J.McNeil vel 1216. came like drops of blood today ,and well over an hour after they were expected ,so much so i rang the "lib-line" at 4pm thinking i had the time wrong ?? well done Jim McNeil winning his 2nd youngbird race this season and being our newest member sure he will be a name to look out for in the future .

for me Colin ,those that homed looked like they had flown 500 miles ,were ok 10 minutes after being home tho with feed and water
