I agree , and yet ,the journey may effect them , so I will let you know my opinion yes Andy , I know , I have some Glenfidich bottles here ,20 and 18 year old ,that haven't been touched yet and were bottled in 2006 ? just would be nice to know when I drink the Grants (which I have found was bottled 3rd feb 1970 )tastes any better or not maybe .also found after 12 years in the cask virtually no change to flavour taste ???

  7. its a shame I cant put photo,s up. have brought 4 old bottles of whisky home tonight from Mrs Burgess late Grand-fathers home . unfortunately they've all been opened at some-time in the past . "Heatherdale" 70cl has some age ,yet has a barcode on the rear label . ive not heard of this brand ,wonder how old it is ? "Grants" 1 litre also has a barcode on the rear,label looks aged ?? "Teachers" 1 litre again , no barcode , duty free for export only ,this has the old silver coloured measuring top (ive not seen these since 70,s) ?? "Famous Grouse" 1.13 litre (ex-optic style label) ?? trying to date them approx. ,ask me any questions to help ? just want to know when I come to take a "wee dram" wether I am sinking a 20 , 30 ,or 40 year old nip

  17. for me , I have twice had trouble with mice , and despite finding the entry point and securing it , even with galvanised sheet , they still made an entry point . however after spraying the timber area with "straight" Jeyes - fluid , that worked
