wet all week here, our birds arent out today . what weather conditions help you decide what to send ? no latebreds or yearlings in East , North-East winds ? none sent in temperatures below 10 degrees etc etc . whats your guide-lines to help you make a decision wether to send or not ?
"up-date" , i rested the bird for 4 days , no loft flying with others . then for 3 days or so , threw him up 20 minutes before the others were due in . i was lucky to get 10 minutes out of him each time . so walked down the street with him and threw him up there . he joined the others and flew the full 20 minutes . has been doing a full hour the last week , had 1 x 10 miler and was 2nd to trap . so will keep an eye upon him , hopefully he will see the 2nd race if he continues to improve and the weather is favourable
