  1. Its the way they all come, everybodys seem to come the same way, thats how I know they get theres first, the only time mine are up is when theres East in the wind can you explain this a bit more for please 3)the right feeding. Feed light, by that I mean a mix without peas/maples/beans.

  3. Just re reading through and noticed I put loft as South/East it is actually South/West facing
  4. I send between 12 and 15 depends on hens if ready to lay, club is between 200/300 and Im usually bottom of sheet most weeks, its a bit strange as I give all other members overfly yet the birds always come from over there way

  8. They go through less than 1 litre per section these days and around 2 litres in summer around 60 birds

Sorry for that loft pic, and confusion I was trying to show something similar to mine I never realised that had dowels on,teach me to look properly, my loft is all closed at front except vents at bottom and traps at top 3 sliding doors one on each section with glass in windows, will try and get pic of mine if I cant find any online mine also has about 3 foot sloping roof at front and normal overhang at back, one of those with wings or whatever they called

Walter roof slopes back and front,no leaks even refelted to be sure, I really dont think they are overfed as even when bits food, seems to be the smaller seeds barley etc in troughs, next morning they are always after more They do upto 2hours am and 1 hour pm, but I dont always let out twice every day for that reason
  13. Tommy the loft is South/East facing, roof is wood and felt and rests on concrete blocks

  16. Walter how would the plank work with the fixed vents already in place, would I need to cover them? They do fly over 1 hour mornings and about an hour afternoon when let out twice daily, training is started at 20 miles on there own 5/6 tosses then on the training truck twice a week around 35 miles, as I race midweek as well, and dont train basketting days
  17. The loft is in the open and in full light/sun all day

  19. The young get raced same as old natural, I have put a humidity monitor in and its usually off the clock this time of year, even in summer sometimes its high as in +70ish
  20. Pat I'm not in any of the club clicks yet so people dont tend to speak except to say hello, I would like to compete at all distances
  21. The loft is around a foot off the ground at one end and about4 inches the other, I blocked the vents advice from another flyer, who said there may be to much air coming through causing the wetness
