i dont know where you guys are training from but in inverurie its been baltic in fact i dont think any of the club that has trained yet a part from an odd one the cold east winds no sun ect can be a disaster we are starting far too early the seasons have changed first week end in may would be early enough i hope you guys get a few more back best of luck

its with great sadness i have to report the death of my great friend A J SIM who died suddenly in his sleepe i was with him yesterday afternoon and he was laughing and joking with me and looking forward to the new season after his move to his new house Ally is a former N E Scotland president and also was the inspuration who set up the grampian combine i was proud to be his junior vice president and to say i will miss him is an understatement to his wife Christine and daughter Pauline and his g children and rest of family i sent my sincere condolsenses rest in peace old friend

yes george it was the 1st weekend in march

walter as you know George Ritchie was one of a kind he was a terrific fancier not only racing but breeding wise he is held in very high esteenm in the North and all across the uk his knowledge was secound to none i did not know him very well but any time i spoke to him i found him one of the nicest guys yer could ever meet not 6 wks ago a top national flyer in Aberdeen said to me he was 1 of the best fanciers he ever new wonder what he could have achieved if had not been for his poor health
