We'll be ready for them whenever they go up, the convoyers have a difficult job to get conditions to suit everyone and I for one have every confidence in them and respect any decisions they make in regards to liberation times, it's what's best for the birds that counts
It's 423 miles to me here in Peterhead.
Good luck to all who are in the race.
Not a lot of chance fae Rotherham but we may get a race if they take them back up the road a bit, possibly Ripon. Should be no problem to get a race fae Rotherham on Monday
If it is Monday, I think I feel a sicky coming on :X
All the best

Cheq cock GB 03 J 62286 handed in to me by non-fancier, has been hanging around their garden for a week, they were feeding him peanuts and he wouldn't leave ;D
any takers?
cheers.
Same here except that we are jumping them from 230 miles to over 420miles and the wind is around 15mph northerly in this neck of the woods, but then again if you don't send you can't win ;D
Our base station is in a plastic storage box, with a tight fitting lid on in the corridor of the loft. We made holes in the back of it for the cables and then taped over these to prevent dust etc from getting in. It stays there for the whole season and is still like brand new. Other fanciers use small kitchen wall units or such like.
we did, even though the bird took 7 minutes to trap > lost out on a good fed position and still 10 birds to come :'(, but we won the nom with our 2nd bird, a strange race all round ;D
Had one exactly the same return in 2004, flew Alencon 632 mls in 2005, Tours, 708 mls in 2006 and Tours again 2008, didn't score but still was glad to see her
Got a bird back last week from one of last years young bird races, still got his ets ring on but feathering a bit faded, other than that he is in excellent condition. :-/
