  4. No problem Frank. One tip I will give you before you come near Easthouses, put a dartboard up the back of your jumper.
  5. Steve, I suggest you look back previous posts that Lee contributed too on pigeon chat under the heading 'gutted'. Maybe that will refresh his memory. As for help, not much that could be done. Not much that I didn't try.
  6. If vagin had read the update properly he'd have seen that it is 'a generalisation of a letter being sent to all entrants'. If vagin would like a copy of this letter he can come and collect one from my address that is readily available from this website.
  7. There will be a full update on what has happened and what will happen on the website on Monday.
  8. Could any West Lothian Fed Members of the site please get in touch with me.
  9. I received a letter tonight, that says, my club has taken a decision to temporarily suspend us from racing old and young birds for the remaining of the 2008 season. The decision was also confirmed by the Midlothian Pigeon Federation president and secretary. I only hope that all club secretaries within Midlothian Fed have been informed of the decision as this will have far reaching implications for their members, as any loft that has the misfortune to have any health problem will be able to be suspended from racing. We have never been invited to any club meeting to discuss this and even offered the club secretary to get a vet in and test our old birds(we have no y/b team) and if they came back clear then there was no basis for us to be stopped racing. This offer wasn't taken up. It should be pointed out that the health problem is in a loft 2 miles from our own lofts and all fanciers who have had y/bs bred in our lofts are more than happy with them.
  10. I took delivery of these y/bs on Friday and they are a credit to Jimmy. All now in the one loft race as venturer birds where only top quality will do.

    1LOFT RACES

The Edinburgh International OLR is hoping to have the birds being filmed webcam style and as the birds go through the bobwires and over the BRICON ETS pad the ring numbers will be displayed on the internet in 'real time'

    1LOFT RACES

I think the RPRA print a balance sheet for their members too see. Can't answer for any other one loft races but the Edinburgh International OLR will issue a balance sheet to everyone competing in the races.

Try Matt from Ecco Lofts 01773745850 or 07791440084. Very easy to deal with and nothing ever a problem. Have a look at his website. www.Ecco.sheds
  15. Andy, one of the drop down fronts in each section has been altered to also act as landing board. I think you can see this on the latest photo in the 'one loft race' section.

  18. Flying yearlings over 500 miles into Scotland twice in the same year could be done but not very many of them will do it. In 2004 there were only 2 yearlings scored in SNFC in more the one 500 mile race. Haven't checked 05,06,07 results but wouldn't have thought there would be very many due to race programs
  19. Have you seen how much the fifers drink, Frank. I'd be cheaper buying new lofts. lol. Seriously, I can assure everyone attending the final race, they will deffinitely enjoy themselves. Once the lofts have closed for entries I will inform everyone of our planned FINAL RACE WEEKEND.

  22. Think as its on PB the site clock over rules anybodys watch so to speak and all posts are registered in hour/minute/sec so it will be quite transparent for all to see
  23. If as Stuart stated that the bids would end at 8pm then the highest bidder as of 7.59.59 will be deemed the winner. This being the case then it wont be long before everyone can view the exact times that posts were made. It is very close between several bidders if this is the case
