  1. my dad did a similar thing years ago by painting eyes on plastic bucket lids and then fixing them to thew loft roof it seemed to do the trick
  2. i have a rotti and a staff cross both grew up with my kids who are 4 n 5 and will sit next to them and not show one bit of aggression no matter what they do to them. They are brilliant at keeping cats away as the staff x is lightening quick whilst the rottis bark is enough to put most things out of the garden including the two legged pests. Niether worry the pigeons in fact when the youngbirds were just leaving the loft theyd walk over the rotti and she'd not move a muscle.

  4. Thanks lennut I think it was more enjoyable finnally getting my son home after two weeks in hospital although the first win was definately a close run second ;D ;D ;D ;D

  6. cheers mate, had trapping problems myself untill the past 2 races been putting a little bit of hemp in as they trap it seems to have got them trapping well now

  9. i do race against the mamwell bros in the rushmoor srhs, in fact a large proprtion of my stock are from their lines, how ever they werent flying this week as their youngsters are well into the moult, theyve won 1 yb race so far george appleby from louth been taking everything else,
  10. I hope so billy, yes i believe the winning bird was a van der rhee, the second bird was a bred by douglass and son of whitby i picked it up at our breeder/buyer sale

  13. At last I've finally clocked up my first win and broke my novice status taking first and second in the club from billericay 128 miles the last drop in the club. The winning bird is a dark cock one of seven brought from vallance earlier this year all of which have been coming well for me.

  24. I think they can be a bit territorial when nesting and pairing up as I've got alot near me and only ever have any trouble this time of year with the odd one
