This breeding season i brought in some nest bowls :-/But now that my sqeaks are 12 days old the bowls are getting quite dirty i was just wondering if it would be ok to take the sqeaks out and empty the bowls of the twigs and other stuff and put some new stuff back in and then replace the chick??? I dont want the parents to dissown the chick so i really need some input from more expeirienced fanciers because this is only my first year with pigeons.... ;D
please help.... jordan

No sorry i havent a clue why the eggs got brocken last time.May it be because i wasnt givving them enough grit? or would this not make any impact? Also the pair that were sitting on the eggs have never sat on eggs before this is their first time...maybe they dont know what to do properly!
thanks for the reply...
jordan
what is the chance of the youngsters no treading on the eggs and smashing them Because i need to breed as many birds as i can this year.
thanks for the help

they are very good when they are in the air...i have only had them about a year and i have already had for sets of eggs off them but 3 sets got broke and only one out the forth set hatched but the squeaker is very healthy.
