  1. Hi could anyone tell me what spreadleg is and how to prevent it because i have been warned that it can spoil good youngsters??? Is it fatal or permanent??? any help is gladly welcomed!!! jordan

This breeding season i brought in some nest bowls :-/But now that my sqeaks are 12 days old the bowls are getting quite dirty i was just wondering if it would be ok to take the sqeaks out and empty the bowls of the twigs and other stuff and put some new stuff back in and then replace the chick??? I dont want the parents to dissown the chick so i really need some input from more expeirienced fanciers because this is only my first year with pigeons.... ;D please help.... jordan

  6. yes they are flying! they sort of flip over backwards and somtimes go a bit mental!!! i dont know weather they are rolers or tumblers???? thanks alot jordan
  7. thats your best option...i only have basic carpentry skills and i made a good looking ply wood one.Simple, practical and very good looking. jordan
  8. Thanks snowy... they are both the same breed even though they are diffrent colours. Sombody told me that they were birmingham rolers??? i dont know.... thanks for the help anyway... jordan

  11. me personally... i like breeding because it is the first year i have ever had any youngsters out of my birds. I would like to race but i havent got the right loft at moment but it looks very exciting... jordan

No sorry i havent a clue why the eggs got brocken last time.May it be because i wasnt givving them enough grit? or would this not make any impact?Also the pair that were sitting on the eggs have never sat on eggs before this is their first time...maybe they dont know what to do properly! thanks for the reply... jordan

  15. hi i need some help as i am a newcommer to the hobby... I have 8 birmingham rolers (so i have been told?)and they have produced 4 sets of eggs in which a lot got broken and some didnt hatch...But 1 squeaker hatched. I had a glare of hope today as the 2 birds i tried to pair up mated 3 time in the space of half an hour. Deos this mean that i can expect some eggs in the next few days? please give me some help!!!! thanls alot jordan???? ;)

  19. hi everyone i am new to pigeons and i had my first ever baby hatch last tuesday. At the moment i only have 1 nest bowl but will i need to put another one down for the second round of eggs or would one be ok?

  21. they dont go that high but their rolls are brilliant... i would like to get some racers but these are nice to hae flying around your garden
  22. i have 8 of them but only 2 breeding pairs
  23. they are very good when they are in the air...i have only had them about a year and i have already had for sets of eggs off them but 3 sets got broke and only one out the forth set hatched but the squeaker is very healthy.
