  1. well im sure it wont be the biggest club surely some of the so called national clubs will have more members
  2. think about the over treated birds with a severerly compromised immune system , this poor bird wont have the constitution to face the stresses of training and the race basket and if looked after in a proper way from the offset the stress of racing wouldnt be too much for it , i think you would be right to be upset that our birds immune system would be stronger and more vigiourous to not be as easily supceptable to infections because of there remarkable constitution , unlike a bird propped up with medicines doing more harm than could see a basket come back ill and much easier to blame everyone elses birds than look at how there birds got so weak , a wild bird that gets ill doesnt see a vet it dies its natures way
  3. they removed the mollases based from the Aviform ultimate but i mix my own and add the mollases back to it , however was brought to my attension a few days ago that Taylors Choice sell it now as black majic , however Aviform are buy one get one free so still cheaper to mix your own IMO
  4. look through ring lists for clubs in your area http://www.rpra.org/Portals/1/RPRA%20Ring%20List%202008.pdf
  5. used Bayril once for respiritry disease changed loft never used anything since
  6. ill enquire at next test before racing
  7. the gel they call kit a soup solution so the bacterias dont die off
  8. when i have watched swabs previously i hold the bird then vet opens the beak keeps it apart then tilts the head back so the squab reaches into the gullet then this is transfered by scratching a petry dish with a gell where the bacterias / canida can grow , thats my understanding anyway
  9. its sad to hear of anyone culling there birds , did your dad have any imports in with these birds or were they all home bred ?
  10. im sure my vet tests for everything as i ask and there defra approved and my birds are well looked after cant get any better than a goverment vet that specalises in avian , i may have to watch a bit closer next time i get the birds tested and will ask her
  11. you can read , date is 10.12.08 , lets see your tests then oh and by the way the code is the daycode so no date needed
  12. I guess that tube would be same as swab , my vet tests my birds for evertything and im happy with that
  13. then via the throat swab
  14. via the dropings
  15. throat swab
  16. do you get to first word then stop reading ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D droppings , canker and canidida
  17. enchinea is also from flowers as well as greens but still prevent bad bug build up and helps the immune system so a great product
  18. they have been pumpimg there birds up for years , this is a result of it ybs nature bites back
  19. no foriegn birds in my yb loft so i should be fine
  20. i do same you wouldnt take a medicine you dint need unless a doctor told you so and thats how i am with my birds lost 2 ybs last season flown natural to 215 miles , lost 3 to hawk in last week of racing around loft , if people want to treat thats up to them my birds will be less supceptable to picking up anything as will have a superior immune system to those who prop up with medicines
  21. ill have a read in morning aint off to loft now must be working tho dont have respiritry either
  22. you'l be on the road to great things Robbie i assure you but use some good natural preventaives for 3 days a week from mon to wednesday you wont need to medicate unless you get a very persistant strain but regular screening will prevent it and make your misses happier not running for pills every 2 minutes and emptying bank ballance
  23. vet told me not to change what im doing so ill listen to my vet
  24. i could copy more prize cards if you wish but would prove nothing lets see my results this year using my methods
