well first you would have to build a home for your birds called a loft or if want just a few birds perhaps a dovecote , it all depends on what you want to do either keep as pets or living orniments or race

both as if feather on parent of a bird is poor then it is likely to pass the same traits on to its offspring and besides if an underirable trait i dont want it popping up in future birds
