A yellow hen will not produce yellows unless the cock carries yellow or the cock is a dilute, i.e silver!

If you buy birds to race at £99 for 6 then pay your money and take your chance its a numbers game and there must be the odd good one! If you pay them serious money for a suposidly well bred bird then see how keen they are on having a DNA test!!!!

Test kits are available from the RPRA but i think they are tested in south africa now. Has anybody been found and proved to be using drugs in the UK? Everytime i've seen drug test results published they've been clear! Phil

the main thing with a loft hoover is the filtration system to prevent small particles of dust just being circulated around the loft. The best ones have replaceable filters.

With all the good sugestions I would also vacume daily with a loft vacume to remove as much dust and bloom as possible. Phil

Make sure its an avian vet as most no nothing about pigeons or what to prescribe!
