  1. ideal for what you want it for [ the pigeons i mean] itll help them heat up , but when racing very little, if any, depending on the races. plant some for next years crop itll grow easy ;D ;D ;D ;D find out what the bail money is first :) your fairly getting there pecked hen , good luck to you
  2. i still defend milton where there are crop problems
  3. every one to there own in, 19 84 i won 13 out of a possible 17 races also winning prizes in fed and national [won supreme average in fed]most trophies in club, the club at that time had about 36 members sending over 700 birds some weeks the fed would be approx 4000 birds, the only thing the birds had that year was garlic in the water, vits on a wed.and that was it. p,s the garlic was about 15 p and the vits about 3 pounds,oh they got half milk and half water on arrival,,, but that was 1984. and that was 60 to 604 miles
  4. control is determined with kindness training, handling and patience. :) and with control ,, youll get contentment,,,, and with contentment youll get condition,,, and its condition that wins races [3c,s ] :)

  8. sorry celtic had a wee bit bother with computer, but answer in all posts above i was going to try the pine needles but unfortunately, couldnt collect them, tobacco stalks are about the best, straws, dodgy, as shadow says, it can also cause aspergiliosis when foosty [scottish word i think]this year i have clean shavings in and collected bits of pine twigs, gave it a spray first, but thats just due to circumstances, the birds look comfortable enough, and most layed at about the same time doc ;D ;D ;D
  9. theres good and bad in all colours of birds, its just that theres not of fanciers race whites, so obviously, you wont see them in the results so often. just like to say what a brilliant photo, chatrace has posted, really superb.
