  1. Very nice dougie, thats dream stuff lol. only holds 108 baskets tho x20 birds =2160 total. Our birdages at its highest was over 2700?. In saying that we have lost 9 members to date approx 200 birds per week. 340 to much, something to work on tho. regards alex.
  2. i,m aware that it depends on what you have in the bank, but we would have to ask the members if we are willing to use the funds plus a grant, to get the transporter. if they disagree then thats the end of it. I,ll look into the coal regeneration. cheers
  3. is there any way we can add info regarding our feds/clubs ect to either this or another thread? just like the mini sites b4. regards alex
  4. Our federation missed out the chance to get an awards for all lottery grant to purchase a transporter. Having contacted our good man Ian Mckay, he informs me that our fed has missed the boat, which is pretty pisss poor on our feds behalf. Are there any other ways that we could get financial help to purchase a new/different transporter. Regards alex wight
  5. Lot 22 £40 lot 28 £25 please and ta Regards alex. >>>> Done Thanks Ian
  6. thanks Brian, its a start, something to build on. Lets hope theres a good turn out at the agm now.
  7. Well done to all the fed members that turned up tonight. Very worth while and constructive informal meeting i feel. Gives some food for thought with a few ideas brought up, and here's hoping its the start of a fresh beginning. Now its the council meeting in December then the agm in January, to raise these issues discussed tonight. Regards alex. Hope you have a speedy recovery Betty. Regards alex.
  8. Cheers mucker, i had a vague idea about that type of system, but with not using didnt read up on it. Thanks for the info tho, much appreciated, regards alex.
  9. you,ve got a point there, not that i,ve been faced with this wee problem but i always thought that was possible. but now looking at it in more depth, your right that cant be possible. Dont know if it says anything in the manual.

  14. Huge congratulations to Jock Scott, and glad it was well attended and enjoyed by all.
  15. already on mucker
  16. I,m not sure if Maxi has got back to Elaine or not, the last i heard was that he was checking who was going, so there would be his group of 42 going as well. Unfortunately i,ll miss this years one due to attending a family wedding, otherwise i,d be there as always. This will be one of the topics being raised on Tuesday, to see where we are going wrong with the dance and where we can make it better. Is there interest from the east boys attending?
  17. Never heard anymore Dougie
  18. this meeting was mentioned by Joe Murphy in his column this week ,good luck to you all. Requested by myself Andy, thanks for the support.
  19. The master base station and ringer is on loan, so i will not be taking them up on this offer. Any other business would make a small charge every year, BEFORE they loan the system. What Unikon has now realised is that there is no regular income except for the rings, hence the huge price hike on them. Now they are trying to blackmail us into taking out this insurance, to give them money that they are needing to survive. If it was up to me, my club would hand them straight back, and do what was done in the good old days. This isnt a surprise, its getting that whatever you need in life you have to pay through your nose to get it, just like gas, electric and petrol ect.
  20. This is the response from the federation secretary: No problem I will forward this to all my emails I have, I will not be able to make the meeting, but perhaps you could bring up, that if members supported the events we have at the minute maybe the club would not be in this situation. With only 15 members of the fed going to the dance (this does not include partners) its quite sad. Thanks Elaine
  21. Cheers Tooshy, just gives everyone a chance to speak in a comfortable way. No pressure's, the feedback has been very positive, so heres hoping we gain some good ideas, which i,m sure we will. Cheers alex.

  23. Had a few phone calls regarding this meeting which is encouraging. This is not an emergency meeting called by the fed, its as it says "informal" arranged by members within the fed, to band about some ideas to help the future of the fed. Regards alex
  24. No he means to get them to attract the bops to them to your garden away from your pigeons, so that u can admire these beautiful birds of prey not doing damage. and then take a few shots at them.........with your camera off course.
  25. Hopefully there will be a good turn out to discuss different topics and ideas. I know there is an interest in the amalgamation starting back up again, but first and foremost its the feds interests that need to be addressed, so that we can fly our birds in the best possible way.
