Ive kept pigeons for over 40 years and ive never experienced as many bad SNFC races back to back, so you are not alone m8. It has been soul destroying for everyone and even the hardened, seasoned, long distance enthusiasts are struggling.

The inland nationals are here to stay, too many folk have had great success from them and it generates a lot of money for the national. It subsidises the longest race as well but if we take them out the averages you'd find a lot of distance men wouldn't entertain them. Maybe that's the way forward, it keeps everyone happy.

Your right Dal, sect A is the only sect to use up all their diplomas, quite a good race down there lol.

This is one of the best posts on here for some time. The pathetic truth about it is some people, some,supposed top pigeonmen, will oppose moving forward because they don't like the guys with the new ideas. I could name a few in the west section that this applies to and basically these guys are holding the sport back. Lets move forward and try and sort everything that is holding us back ie, 1. BOP, 2. Transportation 3. Controlling 4. Security .5.TRUST

Aye Willie, ye canny fk about with these races sending inferior doos and thinking youll get them lol, its the opposite strategy that should apply. I had another away for its chance to win a Silver Award, hed scored twice at Ancenis but this pigeon was probably my best racing cock at most distances, hes not home yet but hope he returns, it shows ye canny demand anything from the extreme distance races .

If you don't send your best doos then you wont get them, you've answered your own question. Barcelona is the biggest and best race in the world, the birds fly up to 750 miles and the fanciers send only there best birds to this event.Barcelona winners are the most valuable pigeons on the planet.
