  1. Gangster, your spot on. The guys that do all the work in any club, are to be commended.
  2. Yes Gareth, the timing of the sale definately needs looked at. Birds averaged £67 but that was boosted with the likes of the one off the Gold cup winner. It was a buyers dream and a major chance was missed by many to boost their stock at a very low price. I got one off a 1st section 11 th open for a quarter of its worth.
  3. Thats right, wee Mick went out his way to get to the sale and this shows the wee mans commitment to purchase the best birds he can. I think this is already paying dividends as he was 1st and 2nd section yb national last year, with only 3 away.
  4. Totally disagree with you, venue was far superior to Newmains in every way.Plenty of room to observe pigeons in pens , bar in hall for refreshments, good parking etc etc .The Newmains club knocked us back for their premises as the sale was during racing season. Incidently, I didnt see anyone at sale from Newmains and surrounding areas.I have to agree with IB, if you want a yb , you will go anywhere to get it. The only disappointment was the lack of support from west section fanciers but thankyou to all who donated birds.

  7. DONT YOU EVER MENTION MY NAME WITH DISEASE YA FECKIN *expletive removed*. ANYONE THAT KNOWS ME, KNOWS MY BIRDS ARE IMMACULATE. YOU HAVE JUST LOST WHAT LITTLE CREDIBILITY YOU HAD. I THINK YOU SHOULD LET FOLK KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE ON ABOUT . > > >
  8. The truth is coming out now ALF and BIGDA. Do yous feckin cranks think I am going to sit back and take your P*** without replying. Feckin grow up and let folk enjoy their hobby. Nobody is trying to get in your Lanarkshire fed, yous are mistaking me for someone that gives a *expletive removed* about your fed. I have tried to get into fed for over 10 years now, but no more. I feel sorry for the decent doo men who wanted us in , they are embarrassed by the likes of you. Anyway, as ive said in previous posts, Lanarkshire fecked up big time by not letting certain clubs join. It comes down to bad management and very little hindsight for the future of the fed. Kirky had 42 lofts, 53 members and all have went elsewhere because of all the crap. Glasgow fed 1, Midland fed 1, Lanarkshire fed 0
  9. Youve heard m8, nothing gets by you.Now every c,,, knows ;D
  10. Billy Bilsland in Lenzie, 300 yds fae me, my doos fly with his sometimes. Hes in , im not. But the boundary goes further nw than me, it is the strangest boundary I have ever seen. Im quite happy flying with Almondvalley fed and the LSC. Happy days just watching my doos come in.
  11. ;D ;D ;D Now we feckin know how you think .
  12. Afraid Kirky is no more, 2004 had 42 lofts, 2009 have 0 lofts. All these fliers could have been in Lanarkshire but now are in other feds.Bad business by Lanarkshire :-/
  13. Thats a very good point
  14. Yes Jack, too much protein = blue scaly skin. In my opinion, if a bird is in top condition, it feels sweaty and like clingfilm when handled. Its breast feathers automatically part. Although, I totally agree that you shouldnt be delving into the birds feathers.
  15. exactly my point m8
  16. Hi m8, the pink rosie colour we look for on a pigeons keel is an indication of how the blood is circulating and not of form.It shows good health but I have seen birds win with scaly keels, cold feet etc but as the year progresses, and the hotter weather comes in, then all your birds should have clingfilm pink skin and warm feet.
  17. I would say, if you have to train in east winds, make sure its from the east with the wind up their jacksies
  18. Heard it all now, what a load of crap.My best ever racer/breeder has a dropped tail feather.I have had about 3 birds with it and every one has won more than once, and excelled at breeding.
  19. correction, all up now
