I am all for races out to 200+miles with ybs and 400 miles with yearlings but what I did notice last year was , Lanarkshire had 25 in top 100 Open in Falaise National. I think alot of these birds were 2 year olds and they all had the same 100 miles races as ybs . I think we should look at alot of the best birds weve ever had and we will discover that alot of them had very little racing as ybs.

I hope it will never be that bad that we only get that amount of birds. :-/

Midland and Glasgow got gubbed at weekend at 140-150 mls. Lanarkshire got a great race again from 100 mls. Lets just be thankful for small mercies. Plenty of time for distance, 4 channel races and 2 others over 330. Lets see how we stand after these races :-/

Very good race with 3 birds on the night into Scotland. One in east, one in west and one in south.Almost 600 miles on shift

The SNFC went with the UNC in 2002 from Chenoise. This isnt a new thing for us!

The weather at Ripon was great but when you travel north it is a different story. Weather is terrible, hope the feds that libbed get a bit of luck

The problem with garlic is the pigeons hate it. Pay attention to how much less water they drink when it is in the fountain. However,this can be benefitial when feeding ybs as it firms up the droppings round the nest . When birds are racing I think it is best on the food if possible.
