Pigeons have either got it, or they havent. Ive had many good birds that werent raced as ybs. I know a guy that started racing a stock hen at 4 yrs old ( never been in a basket ) and it turned out his best racer.

I find it quite interesting how people dont want to reveal their true identity. Do they think they wont be taken seriously if they arent a reknowned fancier ? This is totally wrong as everybody has something to give this site whether they are complete novices or professional fanciers. Everyone has an opinion and every opinion is equal.

Yes Robbie, the first thing youve got to do is see if your pigeons can cope with the distance then you can plan for them with a little more confidence.Obviously, now that youve tried them, they are good enough so good luck to you in the future m8.
