Why was this statement/letter put out before the committee meeting that's scheduled for tomorrow? I think its disrespectful to the committee, AGAIN!!!!Surely they should've had an input into this letter???

Questions were answered , your right but were they the correct answers??? A meeting was denied because the truth would have to come out and for some reason you lot don't want that. So don't ever say to me ye want the best for the SNFC when ye can agree to do a carpet job on this matter.

I understand protecting the best club in the land, that's exactly what an egm would do. Anything else looks corrupt and like a cover up so TRANSPARENCY and HONESTY are what the SNFC was founded on and this is what everyone wants back.You and others, for some reason ,don't seem to want this, am I right?

A bloody disgrace once again.The SNFC are having a go at Gareth Rankin again when he in fact has served them well over the years and believe me, this is a *expletive removed* stitch up. Hes one of the most honest people that ever served on the committee and only ever wanted the integrity and tradition of the SNFC restored after the Gibson saga. I can guarantee the unrest and suspicion will continue until the whole organisation is cleansed .Anyone associated with Scott Gibson or has any dubiety about them should not be near the SNFC committee!!!!!Massive question marks are hanging over the SNFC at the moment.

I was disappointed the red cock or my grandfather weren't mentioned in the SNFC Centenary book, when Red Hackle was mentioned.???The red cock was way before my time but I remember the blue hen ( bred by Jimmy Mather ), 4 times Rennes diplomas and she was mated to the old blue cock, 4 times Rennes Diplomas and they produced some crackers to score and breed 500 ml winners. Many fanciers had great success through these blues including local fanciers Billy Holland and John Harwood. The Mather hen timed at 5 am one Rennes race and the Linden brothers came down to see it at 6 am and couldn't believe she was at the race.She was like a show pigeon, a lovely powder blue. Heres an example of her breeding prowess. We sent our full team, all 18 ybs to a disaster Gretna yb race and only got 4 home, all were off her and all 4 went on to score at 500 miles.Thats 100% strike rate, 4 from 4 bred that year from her went on to score at 500 miles!! Jack McGuigan, the Glasgow fed secretary,said he had counted and she was responsible for at least 10 open winners . Some of my pigeons today go back to my grandfathers Old Blue family.

Hi Brian, all the Greengairs boys were friendly with my grandfather, Wull Mccrae.He was responsible for a lot of their channel pigeons and vice versa.Red Hackle was a grandson of my grandfathers good red cock. This cock was rated one of the best pigeons in Europe and never really got the recognition it was due in Scotland . The Old Red Cock won 1st,2nd or 3rd in every club race it went to in a six year racing career. The Kirkintilloch fanciers didnt pool their birds if he was entered in any race. To top all that, he was a champion distance bird as well scoring 4 times from Rennes in 4 attempts( no Silver/Gold awards in those days or he would've went again )He won a fortune and I think his best was 31st Open timing at 11.15pm on the night. There were over 20 folk at the lofts waiting and they were all ready to go when someone shouted,'theres an owl' it was the red cock landing in the pitch dark. A cheer went up when he was clocked. He scored high up the following year timing at 7.30pm on the 2nd night, a real stinker.This pigeon never failed at any race he entered in 6 years, unreal!!!The funny thing is,seemingly 'The Old Red cock' was and ugly bassa, wide as he was long but had long wings. His legs were wide apart and he walked like a bulldog lol.He was as rough as a badgers azz. He was the complete dream pigeon, champion breeder/racer and I wish I could get the equal of him in my loft some day.I could write a book about the top pigeons my grandfather had and bred for others, he was a quiet unassuming old man that didn't seek any recognition but I can tell you, he had fantastic pigeons and bred many champions for people.Off the top of my head I can tell you he had at least 3 pigeons to score 4 times from Rennes!!Ah , the good old days!!

I agree Jamie.Definitely enough signatures were sent in and plenty not even used yet if what I hear is correct. expletive remove , cant everyone see its the same old delay tactics by the SNFC.THE CLOSER WE GET TO THE SEASON STARTING THE MORE FANCIERS CANT BE BOTHERED WITH ANY POLITICS. I think its the last nail in the coffin for the SNFC if they don't address this situation asap.

I said I wouldn't post on this but im not sitting here reading untruths about myself. Ive only ever been in Kirky club Colin where I was secretary.I kept the club going by doing absolutely everything in it, clocks, baskets, results ets, etc. The club finished when I had to finish up as secretary as my brother was very ill with lung cancer and no one would take the secretarys job on.We were invited to join Chryston and then were let down by them at the last minute.What a dirty trick they did on us, unbelievable nastiness. All the members went back to the Glasgow fed except myself and J.Hood because we weren't allowed back. Ive never destroyed any club in my life, in fact, ive done the opposite. I was the very first person to get a lottery grant and I am responsible for everyone being able to get ETS etc with grants, John Hood on here will back this. As for starting a fight in an empty hoose, well that's not true either.I ve an opinion and only one vote, the same as everyone else. The fact of the matter is, if I was in my own sect in the SNFC I would have 24 x 1st sec F and twice as much 2nd and 3rds.Myself and John Hood were kept out because of this, nothing more. John Hood got a club after 3 or 4 attempts but ive tried all the clubs and have been knocked back by them all. There are rotten bassas out there that try and cause you grief for no reason, they see it as power but they really need to look at themselves and they'll see pathetic excuses for men. Its the same on here, some folk cyber bully and like to cause you grief, pathetic uneducated people imo.

If this case/letter was presented to the SNFC committee, the President should've stepped outside and let the Senior VP take over. If the Pres did not do this and has discussed this matter then that in itself is reason for a vote of no confidence .

Well lads, I was knocked back again from a club in your fed for the last time. Ive decided, ill never be let fly against the guys round about me. Enjoy your pigeons . ps.
