Just had a call from our club Sec to say he had a stray for us. When he said it had a ETS ring on it new it was not ours. He checked and the bird has a phone number on its ets ring. The bird was 1 we bred for K J Young. I no Davie does a good job but thats 1 this year 3 last year and 1 the year before that that have came back to us and all birds wing stamped. Does any body check the strays or is it just the ring numbers they look at. Just as quick to open the wing and check for the stamp. JAS

Just been reading all the post. It was me that put the post stating that Tam Cram was from the Camelon area as am sure he flew in the camelon club years ago and now flys in the Bonnybrige Club. But Loftman Davey only wanted to know how it was the fed result and i tried to explain that T Henderson is in Corbiewood Club and T Cram is in the Bonnybridge Club. Davey it must be there section of the fed as Tam Henderson is in the compound and said he was 1st and 3rd club so he must be telling PORKIES or thats the fed result Tam is in the Corrbiewood club which is in the Forth and Clyde Fed. They also go with Almond Valley

Was at the compound this morning with our Colin when Tam Henderson got 1 at 5.05am in the rain he was,nt there and think he clocked it about 9am. When we came back from our breakfast and told him what time the bird was there he said the loft doors were,nt locked and the clock was inside. Don,t know if he thought we should,ve clocked it for him. My view is you put your birds hoping to get one and if race still going you should at least be there for them. Only my thoughts

Hi after a couple of weeks of HAWK attacks at the loft and training we are finished with the pigeons. The weekend there was our last race. We were thinking about it for a while but when our birds got up at Otterburn on Sat our convoyer called us to say 2 hawks went for the birds a soon as they got out. This just adds to the injured bird that we are having to put down due to being burst or broken wing, broken keels. This was not easy to put on here as i have been in the pigeon game from the 70s. Just spent the afternoon calling all the fanciers that we were lucky to exchange birds or be gifted birds from some of the top pigeon men in the UK to offer them their birds back. Not been a good day as you can see. All the best JAS.

And B\bar hen which topped the North West Fed 2 weeks running and winning y\bird of the year in the Fed. So we got good retuns compared to some but would like these 2 back.Still look for them every morning at the loft
