oh right, ive never used the juice myself...only used a crushed clove in each drinker. after taking advise from another member i keep in in all the time but change the water each day .( dont know if best to just top up or change water?) tskyes..i said in my reply i wasnt trying to offend anyone because i know there is always someone who will blow things up into an arguement...i was just being interested in the use of garlic...

do you think maybe too much garlic in with water...?

why have they gone like that with garlic in the water ? i have it in mine 24/7 and they are snowy white... (not being funny, just interested to know)

agree with most of above post...winner to winner etc. also agree looks are not that important, seen some top results won by ugly pigeons that if you didnt see the ring , you would swear blind it was a feral......

it amazes me how i see gangs of youths on street corners with pitbull types encouraging them to fight and the police do nothing...but resposible owners are getting them took off them and they are destroyed just because they are p/b type...... this does happen....

according to the law a labrador fits the criteria perfectly for what denotes a "pitbull type" dog....and as everyone knows a labrador is acredited to be one of the least dangerous dogs around,although any dog has the potential to be dangerous.... ther seems to be a whitch hunt against bull terriers.....

when saying a.p.b.t. is second to none...did not just mean for its fighting ability. a pitbull is mostly just associated with being an out of control monster by the uneducated amongst us,and a large number of people including some police do not even know what a pure pitbull looks like,they assume an english bull terrier is a pitbull. these dogs do make loyal pets if treated right,its the scum people who use them to fight that should be punished...but what happens is the usuall thing the authorities take it out on the dogs.... >

best dog we ever had was a staffordshire bull terrier x lakeland terrier...and he just wanted to kill anything he came into contact with, human, dog, cat anything...even ran up and down the street chasing cars. i loved that dog, he slept up on the bottom of my bed...

when i joined the R.P.R.A. as an individual member they sent me a book by Guy Barrett for free...i think its quite a good book, basic but all you need to know. dont know if you are member of club or not, but if not join R.P.R.A. and get it free...

went down to loft this morning only to find 2 ybs hatched, thought they were on plastic eggs but i was wrong...if anyone wants these ybs they can have them free as long as they can send me 2 rings to put on them. no amrtrak...just collection so would be best for someone fairly local to leeds. id hate to have to kill these ybs as its down to bad management on my part that they are here,so ill need the rings before they are 6-7 days old...no messers please... david.

hi tony, i have some of these pigeons myself and in my opinion they are good birds...lefebre-dhaenens are the partnership of roger lefebre and daniel dhaenens of zulte who have specialised in halve fond (middle distance) races and yb races 120-350 miles with great success...the pigeons are medium sized,well muscled and feathered and the basic bloodlines are...desmet-matthys x roger vereecke with introductions from beulque,m verheye and r verstraete. hope this helps...

feeding ybs this morning when i noticed a nail about half inch long i feeding tray...just thought id make members aware so they can keep an eye out themselves...corn was beyers breeding mix...(nail came from the corn,no doubt about it)

was thinking of just having the soil/ground so that stock birds could peck about and get the same out of it as flying out birds...but for safety against cats etc your right a solid floor would be best...
