hi picked up an almond valley stray on the transporter yesterday might be an armadale bird any takers SU 10 AV 2376 think it was lost at one of the nationals was passed on from the north west guys cheers

the whole reason for these races was to stop losing two ybd races and still there are people in the fed not happy dont know why im stil in this game the whole thing has changed from weather to radar to mobile phones to bop the cattle trucks that are still used but we seem incapable to change for the better the midweek races went very well

take it there are no birds to be picked up at catterick then

as i posted earlier almond valley motor at catterick for sunday lib happy to meet on way home if any birds turn up

i have had a ybd for the best part of three weeks it belongs to a fancier no more than 15 miles away he turned up one day while i was at work just thought i would drop in as i was in the area no phone call just a joke it goes in the stray basket on friday sorry if it was mine i would have been there that night i lost half my team off the loft in june and they have vanished i would have loved the chance to get them back this guy is just not interested

just a wee thought to see what you guys think if you were to use shorter races to to school your ybds do you think they would take say a hundred mile jump to enable you to compete in the young bird national a lot a people like steady jumps of say thirty to forty miles a time

everyone who gets involved with the scottish national flying club seems to get power mad except bobby wh just mad lol

great post this brngs back so many memories the birdage was incredible bill barklay used to announce arrivals on radio forth was 25th open nantes one year one of our best ever results now can hardly get 25th club otterburn lol
