bang on rose in the weather that we live in no race controller can give the birds a perfect path as i said in an earlier post once they get a good start and a chance to cross the channel race controller has done a pity good job

grand once there not siting for long

sometimes they look greasy when feeding young ones

could be a stray it could of been nicked as well i would not jump to any conclusions

only so much race controllers can do if its clear at the race point and they have a good chance to cross the water the bird has every chance other weather they meet on on the way is part of there job when u have a race 500 mile or more the weather will be different as they cross the country
