coal dust is known to keep the pigeons crop sweet and free from any souring ,remmeber one man who used it a lot especially when the longer races came about he put loads of it down in his garden and pigeons went daft for it was very hard to beat from the distance think he had a hen that scored 3/4 times from nantes this way ;)thing is now were u get the coal dust from ;D ;D
Well for a start dont look like the same pigeon to me 2 different colours and eyes are a different colour as well even from a different angle the eye shouldnt change that much ,unless pic one is when a squeaker 2 is when older
yir better giving them clay pigeon blocks when feeding young birds personally would throw them black thiongs in the bin at one time it was charcoal yi used to get and yi know wit that is burnt wood
said that for years taste it for your self the black ones i am convinced thats why the pigeons go daft for them when feeding young cause of the salt ;)
think its like everthing else pigeons jimmy you have to breed them to suit your system ,weather environment maybe take years but if its in the blood then it will and does come out ,patience is a virtue when it comes to long distance pigeons ;D ;D
