  7. what a stupid statement to make, peter virtue, dennis dall, mr & mrs graham john proctor, etc etc ......also rans, the best birds on the day are those that handle the conditions better, you cannot blame a bird or fancier because the wind was blowing a certain way or do you think only a select few should be allowed to do well and everybody else should be happy to send, prehaps we should keep our birds at home and let the "names" send theirs.................
  8. 4,500 is great birdage as some feds have had a hammering this year, the best of luck to all competing regardless of location and wind direction, may the best bird/fancier win.

  11. Congratulations to Danny Mitchell & son from the Clarkston club in the Midland Federation in region E who have taken 1ST OPEN WANSTEAD FLATS with the SNRPC. We had a fantastic race with the top 10 birds in the open stretching from Peter Virtue in the east to Luke & Patterson in Port Glasgow in the West. In section F well done to F & W Doonan from Campsie club who were 1st section with Luke and Patterson from Clydebank club in 2nd section and Graham Bros from Chryston Social Flying club who were 3rd section. the top 10 open looks like having a bird form every region so well done to all concerned at the club.

    GREEDY

there are many opinions on how many to clock etc and what is fair but if a man sends and pays for 50 birds then surely he is entitled to put as many in the clock as he wants, if another man sends 5 is he allowed to clock all 5. why does everyone assume that if a man is clocking so many in before you that his birds are better and therefore you must get better birds, maybe his management is better and his birds are better motivated in better health and fitter, we are to quick to try and buy in winners before we have tried to get the maxium from the birds we already have. far to often we blame our birds when the problem is far closer to home, but we dont want to admit to it ..................do we.......... ;D
