We built the whole aviary for less than 50 quid - love having a hubby that can do stuff ;D ;D ;D

We've had them about 5 weeks or thereabouts. They do come out in the aviary, but seem to be more interested in bathing than flying. They sort of fly around it - its big enough 6 foot high, 6 and half feet wide nd 12 feet long, but i can't say i have seen them tumble, which is why i posted the photo. Someone said they were, but i'm not so sure. But then i admit to knowing absolutely nothing. ;D

Nope, it's one of the stock birds. We were given them by hubbies boss who didnt listen to what we were saying we wanted, but it seems they could be tumblers. Would it be safe to let them out - considering they came from another loft? :-/

Can someone confirm this is a tumbler please? ;D

And people thought i was mad getting doos - i've enjoyed every minute and look forward to watching them grow, learn and fly. Nothing better if you ask me (apart from watching my lads grow that is) ;D

I'm totally in love Chickadee, we have another one that is a week old and two eggs are waiting on hatching. I love em ;D

Eve - been as it was born chistmas eve. the other one that didnt survive was chris. Lovely and warm to hold, can't believe how quickly they grow.

Here is a picture of my Christmas present. I really did get doos for christmas. Two were hatched on Christmas eve, sadly only one has survived and here is its progress for you to see.

I doubt that i will make it either, still poorly from before Christmas! I was hoping to meet some of the people on here. Maybe I can convince hubby that we should go for a nice little 2 hour drive next Saturday!! ;D

Yes Tammy is right - i know travel lodge where doing that - i took advantage at new year (well you cant drive when you've had a drink can you) but it does seem a lot of the big hotels are doing it now as they make the money whether you turn up or not.

Best way is to look on the net and look for hotels that give you immediate confirmation when booking on the net. Be prepared to have to pay a bit more though. Cheapest I could find was 90 for one night for a family room. Afterall they are a tad busy. There are lots of hotel search engines and you can specify by how close you want to be to centre - in some cases the winter gardens too

This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the anti virus software's are not capable of destroying it. The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself 'life owner'.. PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THIS E-MAIL TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS, And ask them to PASS IT ON IMMEDIATELY! :-/
