Castleview If you are Eye Sign orientated, you should pay heed to Jack Barkels methods, have studied many different mehods by many fanciers, and all undoubtly have something to offer,to my own opinion Jack has a lot more than most, eye sign is not some kind of miracle, its an aid to help a fancier in a better selection programe,if a bird hasnt got all the other requirements, then eyesign isnt going to be much use, likewise if the fancier is not up to scratch, good luck whatever you do.

In fairness the previous three days have been nice on this side, slight S/W wind with warm sunshin, but now this evening wind has gone round to a N/W direction and a little stronger, and bitter colddefinitely no weather for training, nourishment they want at this stage not punishment.

Geraint I was in this instance referring to England, with Wales Scotland and Ireland competing, you would have your International, its a possibility,if we could manage to lift ourselves from the many small minded issues dogging this sport.

what do you think

That appears to the main input for some on this site,as stated aboveI beleive there should be a set fee fixed as regards sale ads for birds, two tier rates based on a single/yearly for sale ads -
In agreement with Roland,Holland and Belguim geographically small in comparsion to England, create proper and fair Sections, otherwise all kudos would be on South East Coast location, and create races within a race so to speak, with equal rewards and merits to birds winning in Sections possibily racing hundreds of miles further, also in agreement with Andrew as to defination of a National,no radius must be open to all flyers within that Nation.

Expect you have got to read between the lines, gullibility is a strange feeling, there are many who fall for it on a regular basis, and lots of times its down to themselves, they have a few bob anxious,or even over anxious for success, they leap in head first, not only for pigeons, all these miracles potions/tonics/pills/vaccine/a multitude of crap, makes a pigeon LOOK better,it wont make it a better pigeon, newcomers coming into sport must be fuddled by the hype, there are good pigeons out there to be bought, but as a fancier, even if you acquire good pigeons, you have got to have ability to sustain these lines,if not its gone like a puff of smoke, once again you may face the pitfalls of buying, you have to serve an apprenticeship with pigeons, how long, thats down to your capabilities,to learn,we should all be capable of learning something new every day,any new starter,my advice to you ,dont pay cash for pigeons at first, get some freebies, learn about them, healthwise, all the facets of management, make your mistakes, and learn from them, you wouldnt begin to learn to drive in a porsche, learn in a mini.

Racing condition as the header of this post asks, you know you have them in this after the results of the first few races, how a fanciers achives this is dependant on an amount of different things, fitness,is one condition, ability, and motivation, these are only four, but there is a multitude of things hidden amongst these four, how to achive these, there are many different ways all dependent on the fancier, all equally successful, excercise, training, feed, systems, breeding duties, motivation, are just some, which ever you choose to do,you must put at least 100% effort into it,and youre n with a shout,if the calibre of birds being flown have the capabilities,to get results,if they havent, and remember there are always exception to any rule, but if birds are are not up to it and less then 100% you wont be at the races, nothing in this game of ours can be carved in stone, each fancier must find his own methods, system, and do it 100% ,cutting his cloth according to his measurea combination of first four are essential for racing condition, how a fancier achives same is entirely down to him.
