Looks a nice tidy site well thought out.

Brought in 8 birds earlier this year albeit latebreds and flying out and they are Kenyon's which have been a cross from direct Kenyon birds the fancier and originally his father had and from Smyth's of Ireland. Really stunning birds i am hoping they are going to a friends for him to play with next year into his own birds.

BBC 2 now good viewing

A friend tried I think it was 10 or 12 eagleson Buscharrts but don't think they did much and think some were replaced early on. The birds are though affordable to gamble with for the normal working man providing they are healthy as not everyone can afford to spend between 50 and 100 on a bird to risk losing off loft or to BOP etc

Frank Quinlan from Leeds brings birds over still i think. Last time i used him it was £20 per bird to Leeds and then courier/collection from there

IMO think Nick Adshead from Selby would have to be near the top of the tree with his Van der merwe's

I got offered the same today through the NHS

Well done Gary. Fingers crossed that Ian & CO's fund can get a good turn

I think most gold members of this site feel it offers value for money - £25 for one year - its less than one advert in the BHW that lasts for a week and although we initially put a ruling up of 12 adverts a year it has never been enforced. Both the large pigeon forum sites in the UK charge a very very fair price that goes a little way to keeping the site(s) actually online and active. It also helps fund prize money for the competition we have on at the moment 'Bird of the Year' and will along with additional revenue help with other projects planned for 2011. With regards to the link you posted, we had a member with this in there signature a few weeks ago - It looked very quiet back then but to be fair it was only created on 29th August 2010 so that maybe the reason why it was created by one of our former site members Pure soontjen - i did think you had to pay to sell on there also though?

Never had a great deal of success with breaking birds, did however have a Denduyver cock from Blythy escape only to come back an hour later and stay so lucky there -he goes out regular now. The very best person i have ever seen settle pigeons was a good mate of mine Jim Smith originally from Prestonpans - he could bring a bird in on a Monday and have it broken in 3-4 days and racing the next week - how god knows?

Thought it was Skegness beach until i enlarged the pic

Thanks Sapper And found what i was looking for nice and fast Not seen any mention of them for ages so thought maybe they had folded up.

Is this company still on the go?

Agree with what you are saying Clayton, but also strongly agree with what Sapper has responded with. Since the site moved over to the new software it has obviously been tough in terms of development and getting things right from a technical point of view however feel the site is actually now a pleasure to be on. I think we can count on fingers and some toes just how many topics have had to be locked due to slipping off topic or getting ruined with tripe. The pigeons have there place on the forum and so does the other subjects such as football, jokes etc and defo think the site is a pleasure to be on and associated with. Lets enjoy the site and talk about the one common passion we share - Pigeons!!!

Quite agree mate - I just don't think he likes to do things by half and wants it right - this forum certainly could not function without him.

Free to good home. I was gifted the cock by Chris Maidment with very little details other than its a Eagleson Buscharrt. It was claimed it is also a good winner on the road however i have been unable to verify this with the registered owner of the Pigeon P R Evans from Llanelli in Carmarthen as all attempts to contact this chap have failed due to break up of his marriage. For this reason the bird will be non-transfered unless the WHU can do something about this? He is a stunning cock despite the hazy details about him - I will see if i can dig a picture out of him and put it up on Sunday. Any questions via PM please
