  7. 3 Black Latebreds + 1 Dark Ch Pied (Was meant to be 4 Blacks) but Alan and myself went in to pick first and no chance that Micky M was getting the DCP Only other birds were 2 from Henk but both very well bred gift birds
  8. Cannot agree with Mick more - A great time in Bevern Waas - Ronny and Marlene could not have done more for us for the duration of our visit and the Friday evening was fantastic enjoying a splendid meal, good company and much beer!! (Water for Micky M) Also have to echo the comments regarding Henk - Despite being in very poor health a fantastic few hours in the company viewing many fantastic birds. Below are a couple of pictures taken on the trip

    NEW COURIER

There isnt a need to push him off his perch, as far as im aware Brian has ample work to keep himself busy as do the other decent couriers im sure though that if Premier was to get 5 customers off this site and did the job well the positive feedback would ensure they built up there own customer base quite quickly. If Premier offer a customer service even say 70% of how Brian does the in my opinion they will be around for as long as they want to be.

    NEW COURIER

word of mouth can get you as much work as advertising. The bloke i still rate as about the best courier in the Uk - very rarely advertises in the fancy press (i think i see one advert about 12 months ago) and although a member on this site has never once advertised on it - In fact most wouldnt know he is on here - Yet he still has more than enough work to keep himself occupied every day of the week. His satisfied customers do his promoting for him and he keeps his prices affordable - Everyone is a winner! - No fancy adverts needed £££££

    NEW COURIER

I think its important for any business to learn to walk before it runs, Premier as with any other courier or business could go spending xxx amount of cash on fancy adverts in the BHW/RP etc - Thats fair enough however they need to consider such an expense and also the affect it would have on the cash flow of the business - All very well having expensive adverts but a little pointless if due to them adverts they cannot put fuel in the van etc I dont know the finances of this courier or indeed any other but would have thought the chance to advertise in the manner they are doing so (forum etc) is the most cost effective way to start with the business - The fancy adverts will come no doubt when the time is right and the business is fully operational.
  12. Is it hell its softer than my Staffie and JR - Well from the top floor of a double decker! I always think a yappy dog is as good as deterent as something that will rip an intruder to pieces...Just as well for me really!

    blackpool show 2010

Im quite confident my horizons were broadened long enough ago and nothing in Belgium will be much different - Havent booked into Blackpool yet but will maybe stay at the same hotel as last year whatever that was called??? Waiting to see if Richard's wages beat what i get at Blackpool already and if he offers expenses also (Hope he is looking at this!! ;) )
  20. For sale Floor Grills - Im not 100% sure on how many there is at present however these is certainly enough to cover a 50ft loft and possibly up to 70ft. Some are full grills and some cut down to size into an 8ft section. The Grills are all made from Hardwood and are approx 4 years old but in good condition. I will put measurements etc up when im at the old house again. Grills either as a full lot or individual are open to offers.
  21. Im moving everything over to 100% deep litter and pulling up all the floor grills. The deep litter in my stock loft has been down approx 12 months maybe longer - It hasnt been raked over at all and is still in fine condition -at depth of approx 3 inches. I prefer the Hemcore over Easibed but its only personal preference and ease of supply
  22. For Sale Junior Black Carry Case Quickstart device 15 Thimbles £15.00 including 1st Class postage (Recorded)
  23. Both traps now sold Thanks
  24. Think there is an endless list of people flying this family well. Micky Betts of Doncaster Bartle & French of Skegness (ECS coming up this back end) Sheader Sootjens doing well across the country Brian Clayburn I will also say Locker, Breckon & Vasey of UNC fame - I understand the partnership has dissolved and Chris Vasey gone alone (or something like that) however very very good pigeons there never the less and Chris is a great bloke Sure i have missed so many top Sootjen flyers out but its nearly midnight and im done in. These would be amongst the first people i went to for the family though.
  25. For sale 2 x ETS traps. Only one is pictured but both are almost the same They should have been pictured whilst on the loft but hindsight is a great thing. £10.00 each Buyer to collect or carriage at cost
