My 2 uncles had them and i went into partnership with 1 of them( Well i cleaned them oot and carried the baskets to training :o) and after he died i have raced them the last maybe 10years myself

A few years ago i had an old stock hen that was too fat and wouldnae lay (she was always a big hen) but an old guy that comes to our lofts everyday told me he could fix her in 5 days and took her away on the monday and brought her back to me on the saturday and it was like getting another pigeon back so i asked him what he done and he said he put her in an old basket he still had at his house and all she got was multi vits in the water and it never done her any harm not getting fed for those 5 days and she went on to breed a couple of handy pigeons for me
