i was realy saddend when gareth called me this morning about his dad ive been priveleged and honoured to have been a friend of big george since i was a wee laddie when i raced in cambuslang he was by far the biggest inspiration in the pigeon game that ive ever met a true master fancier one of the all time greats but most of all a great man that had time for everybody that ever spoke to him . our thoughts are with marcia and gareth and the rest of the family at this sad time. rest in peace my big pal . from davie .liz and holly allison

its an easy one for me timing my yearling dark hen in the ypres race to win 1st club 1st lanarkshire fed and 2nd reg e 15th open snfc and the thrill of seeing the hen racing out the sky like a rocket a sight me and my old pal rab will never forget

i frank the last one came at 18.30 the night

you will get them in the morning frank the vulchers must have been through them

got 12/12 sent im glad i decided to stop the bulk of them on friday due to them being a bit ragged in the moult .i hope the guys with doos short get them turning up during the week .

11/12 sent with lanarkshire it seems if you didnt get them in the first 30 mins then after it was a struggle for the later ones for some reason

i think the race control team are doing a good job the forecast is for the better as the day goes on and for some reason you seem to get better racing the later you go with the young birds i think we will get up around 13.30

31/31 with lanarkshire first bird was there at 09.00 didnt get it in till 09.05 out of all the doos that came not one trapped as they normally do

your right rab frank deserves a wee bit of luck for a change i juas hope if they get up the morra its a decent race

frank i hope you do see them as me and rab sent your lot but there in good nick i just hope the weather is kind ti us and they get up early

i was 3rd 4th and 6th geo so im pleased with the first race

there was 496 birds away from burnbank so you done alright geo being 16th in yer first ever race just keep working at them and im sure you will be in the tickets soon

got 3 together at 11.51 didnt get them in till 11.53 . 30/31 from otterburn with lanarkshire fed great race for there first one
