  7. i lost a cock in the yb nat. 2004 after flying the program he returned half way through the old bird season 2005(i'm sure somebody had him in trying to keep him) and when he had a chance he came home in good condition i gave him a mate straight away to forget where he'd been and a couple of weeks later i gave him a short race , he came ok so i put him away until 2006, he turned out to be 1 of my better racers and is still here plus he's flown the channel 6 times in the last 2 years scoring in most of them

  22. i live in swansea and round here if your not wing stamped you don't send , you don't get many birds reported (i've had a single pigeon reported in the last 2 years) i've heard stories where a lot of people will kill strays rather than report them, last week i had a bird reported in hamburg germany the couple could'nt speak english so they got their dtr to phone me(she does'nt live with them) a lot of fanciers would'nt go to trouble( i suspect they think us welsh could'nt afford to get em back) or is it that they look better than what they got in their sheds !!!
  23. thanks for your help guys+girls
  24. hi guys/girls i'm after your help, i race greyhounds as well as pigeons and my local council(swansea) are saying they won't renew or extend the lease on the track when it expires because it wants to build units there, but there's already a large ind. estate nearby where there's loads of factorys/units empty so we are starting a petition to keep it open , in the last couple of years they have raised over £30,000 for local charities but as like us pigeon fancier's it seems to go unnoticed . us racing people need to stick together so if your willing to sign please do thanks Here is a link to our petition . http://www.petitiononline.com/saveswan/petition.html
  25. that's a 700+ mile fly home for him then ;D
