hi paul yes we were flying south up to 2005 then the club changed south east because of bad losses and the running of the south road. I must apologise for invading this post..............

i don't use farm beans but all our other corn comes from farm, ie mixed peas, widowhood corn etc. All from Court Farm Hereford a great setup who will mix anything you want at cheap price to match, which is great for all fanciers because the sport is getting increasingly more expensive every year.

maple peas are a dark brown colour, but you can get white peas and green which are a cheaper alternative to maple.............

like you say pigeon man transport could be a problem........................

can you give more information what you are looking for, ie is it children from her or pigeons bred from brother and sisters same way bred ?

had orrendous problems last week with female sparrowhawk, taking ybs only feet away from where we were standing it killed one, injured two. Luckly the problem has now been sorted and the sparrowhawk was run over by a car.

I have janssen based birds and this year for the first time have reared 4 yb's with frill breasts. Like other posts maybe to do with inbreeding.

don't know the cause maybe a weakness but if the bird is healthy leave it be. Has they say they come in all shapes and sizes. We had a yb with end 2 dropped this pigeon topped the section as a yb, yearling and 2 yr old and won 24 prizes in first in club with many fed positions. The flights were normal once moulted. So I say give the yb a chance only time will tell.

we start in wales on 14th april which is much too soon, hasn't stopped raining for ages can't even let birds out although any chance to train.

thanks very much for your comments. Will give it a try, as I say it is only the one bird and until on yb's was fine, when they hatched all the front is completely bald with chunks out all over.

a stock bird purchased end of last year on its first yb nest is losing all body feathers any views or ideas to cure it or just leave the bird alone.

we fly mainly braspenning jannssens which either have been purchased from Louella direct from the champions or direct from Berts stock loft. There are a few other janssens mixed in ie camphius and pouw etc. These birds have proved themselves over the last 6 yrs winning up to 510mls.

Hi Mike Lycett on the forum races these, I also believe some very good pigeons and performances.
