I am looking to buy an ETS clocking system and was just looking for some feed back on which ones are the best. Also I definitely want one that texts when a bird arrives and as far as I can see only Unikon do it but they are expensive at £645. Are there any other ETS clocks that text and if so what are the makes and how much are they new ?

To be fair Ive bought some good stuff over the years from markets for prices you wouldnt pay at shops, obviously we are talking about pigeons though not clothes or fruit, lol, but Im sure the majority of people shopping at the Lier Market must be Belgium and surely they wouldnt buy crap, just a thought

Nah Ive never treated for Respiratory, Its just whenever I read something new about a flier thats doing well they seem to be all treating for respiratory .... APPARENTLY ! I dont know where ive got theres a vaccine from anyway cause after doing my homework apparently there isnt one. I dont have any birds yet but was just wondering if thats what I should be doing. I dont like medicines neither and when I do have birds dont have major problems with illness its just that whenever I hear people are not doing well they say treat for respiratory, blind treat in other words but I thought if that was the case why not innoculate and try and prevent it happening in the first place

What is the best Respiratory Innoculation to use ?

I asked if I was able to have a pigeon loft at the local allotments and they have said no as well, turns out birmingham city council doesn't allow pigeon lofts on any of there allotments. Weve ended up having an allotment anyway cause the mrs likes growing veg and I like flowers and japanese maples and stuff. But it the mrs is taking over that project already, minus all the hard graft of course, lol. When I first moved in to my council house 12 years ago the first thing I did was to ask for permission to have a pigeon loft which I was granted, anyway 9 years later the council turned up out of the blue after I erected another pigeon loft saying someone had complained that I had too many pigeon lofts in my garden. They asked to have a look up the garden which is 100ft x about 30 ft and they told me that I was well in because I was allowed to use 50% of my garden for things like sheds, kennels, pigeon lofts and the like. I was that chuffed I thought it was only right that I gloat and so went straight out and bought another two lofts and erected them in my garden as well. Morale of the study, make sure you know all the facts before you go and run to someone grassing theyve done something you dont like, It could come back and bite you !

Ive been turned down permission to erect a pigeon loft now anyway, so that ideas out the window, pfft It was my girlfriends idea so we could all get involved as a family, she actually finds it fun, dont find many women like that do ya ! lol. Her Grandad was a top flyer and her uncle still is at the top of his game so I guess Im lucky to have a women that dont mind. I didnt force my hobby on anyone !

I am starting back up with racing pigeons but from my girlfriends house instead. My question is, are the birds from Louella any good or should I not waste my money. I really would like to hear everybodys different opinions on the birds from this particular stud, including any good results coming from birds that were purchased there or even anybodys loft that consists of mostly Louellas birds. I want to hear about the crap birds as well, so please everyone get stuck in !

Ok, how does the dead vaccine work then ?

Can anyone tell me where I can get the live vaccine for paratyphoid and what is its name please. Why is it better than the vaccine that is not live ? I was told a couple of years ago but cant remember the answer. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks Wayne.
