Arent they a well known place that breeds good birds? Well louella is a persons name probably that started the breeding and selling of their birds? Somebody please correct me if i'm wrong. :-/

Isn't there such a thing about breeding too much of the original type out of the bird that it eventualy weakens the strain?

So you've tried this out too and like it. We put lavender stalks in the loft today and what a powerful smell it has, just hope the birds like it. ;D
