midlothian flew longtown last year with our youngbirds think we flew it 3/4 times and had good returns maybe the problem is not the race point but what the birds are encountering further up road

    Lanarkshire

In my own opinion I think there are 3 things contributing to the raceing we are all experiencing this season 1 weather which has been very unpredictable 2 the amount of peregrins that are about which is getting worse 3 solar activity we are at present at what they call solar max which happens every 11 to 13 years and at present there is a lot of activity from the sun hitting earth jmo
  17. If the fife boys think back last year your 1st young bird race from kelso was much the same you seem to get it all the time from there think you should think of changing your race point stobs camp would be a better line for fife pigeons but dont think you would get an artic in there jmo
  18. I would like to appologise to the members of midlothian fed for not getting a race at the weekend but I could only go with the forecast that I was being presented with which completily changed over the coming hours I will try and not let this happen again unless I get a forecast telling me that there is 100 per cent no chance of a race then the pigeons will be going to the race point at the end of the day I try my best to give everyone good raceing with hopefully good returns as always my priority is the welfare of the pigeons first peter calder race controller midlothian fed
