thats the post getting highjacked again the post is about snfc lib site not transporters

the race meeting is a night meeting first race 18.10

you will have to find somwhere better than basinstoke as that site is a no no as you can only liberate one transporter at a time also to many obstacles in the way of the pigeons

gareth the site is not suitable as IB says only one transporter can liberate at a time so how are they going to liberate 2 transporters just not suitable have a good look a ground view and you will see better that it is not suitable I dont think any organisations use it that I know off

Im sure they would,nt but what is the point of going to a lib site knowing that it is not suitable then having to move the birds somwhere else

thankyou peter for taking a look as you say not suitable to liberate possibly 4000 birds just because it is an rpra site does.nt mean that they are all suitable for large liberations

Derek have a look at the site yourself on google earth as I said the post was about the lib site surely the safety of pigeons has to be taken into account

thought this post was about the lib site at basinstoke which is more important than talking about transporters .no good taking the best transporters if the lib site is not suitable . so if you look at the pictures on google earth street view you will see that there trees .buildings fences that are all potencial hazards remember it will be atleast 2 transporter trying to liberate at that site

they seem to do what they like I would like to know why it has been changed from newbury and where in basinstoke the lib site is as if it is the same one that I once liberated pigeons at I would say it is not that suitable

main batches were away at otterburn it was a couple of late pigeons coming out of baskets that percie had a go at but missed the race the percies were at the birds was the comeback thirsk the bad race we had but these bloody things are every where as you know

the fed will be having 4 from otterburn 1st 20th july will be a trainer only not a fed race 2nd 27th july 1st fed race 3rd 3rd aug 2nd fed race 4th 10th aug 3rd fed race this giving the y/birds 4 from otterburn to hopefully help them with the jump to thirsk

original site at ridsdale not suitable the bit that pentland was useing also not suitable as far to close to main A68 only 25yds away could cause problems with traffic as birds could be killed or cause a serious accident then fed would be liable we dont want that happening safer for everyone to liberate at otterburn hope this clears the change in racepoint the jump with the y/birds we will just have to see how it goes as that what was passed at agm I tried to tell them but nobody seemed bothered I myself was totally against this decision but you have to go with the majority vote unless there was enough signitures or clubs asked for an e.g.m to overturn the decision

70+mls jump you should have been at agm the n you know what was passed only race point changed is ridsdale otterburn instead

gary the fed is now starting to pick up due to some good house keeping and if the members would put a little more effort into things that the fed want to run to raise funds it could get a lot better as you will see when the balance sheet comes out

gary if you tell the truth you dont want what is best for the birds you want what is best for you with the more easterly drag of the birds you want the birds coming over the top of you .YOU are only interested in yourself if you are not interested in midlothian fed then you are welcome to go elswhere
