  1. ivomectin would be my choice on droplet on the back of the exposed skin on the back of the neck about every 4 months will keep them clear of internal and external parasites this would probably be the simplist way for you ,its good stuff orginally produced for cattle but now produced for all animals dogs,cats, birds etc except collie dogs it can kill them ,check with your local animal vet he will measure you some out should cost about 3/4 quid for a small bottle
  2. do i float eggs yes, why, to get more young ones of my better pairs as quickly as possible for racing ther put under my unproven racers maybe yearlings etc but only took away from the pair after 7 days sitting on them my birds are maybe paired at different times , i float eggs because i dont keep many birds thats my only reason really and to produce more youngsters out of my better pairs, i hope this makes sense.

    is the epson ink cartridges, if it is it will cost the club a fortune better with a lazer printer, cartridge about 60 quid but will print quicker and will print thousands of copies on one cartridge they have to be dos compatable.

    well done i think its great a lot of genuine fanciers help each other on this site that means a lot to each and every one of us with the cost of couriers etc always goin up,again well done mate.

  10. thats very true IB green leaves etc will add ally the vitamins etc a pigeon needs and they are practically free good point mate sometimes pigeon racing/keeping is only as expensive as people make it. red bull lol
  11. very interesting ill pass this info on i honestly never thought of reading the label this really makes me think as a matter of fact i bought coloumbovac at blackpool any other year i use nobivac but i dont like it as it is oil based and can leave a greasy stain on the neck feathers that lasts for months and i was told coloumbovac is water based and therfore doesnt stain,but as i have never used it as yet i dont know.

    6oo odd signatures against raptors at blackpool all weekend yet 11,ooo entered the show on sat morning whats happening does no one care anymore ,or maybe because they wernt allowed to have that stand near the entrance ,seems strange to me its partly hid at show any explainations anyone.

  20. read this weeks homing world about the fancier thats races in iceland, he flys open hole hawks and falcons live all around him yet they dont bother the birds cause they are street wise same as mine i never get hit and i live beside a forest but i do get the odd one hit from races.

  24. ther really is no answer and be carefull pigeons dont pick where the dog pissed as its salty taste is attractive to the birds it could knock them off form ,I have the same problem but if i got rid of the dog the cats would move in so dog has to stay.
