  8. Hi Pete, We are in as well mate. will give you a bell on Saturday be nice to get a northerly wind?
  9. Normally wouldnt entertain latebreds, but after a disastrous yb season last year and big losses at the NFC Saintes race, We decided to breed a team of latebreds (actually moved them during October), and had them out most days over the winter. Got them into training mid marcg, had a bad toss in late March in which we lost a number of the latebreds as well as some older experienced birds due to hawks (a couple came back ripped on their backs), had some reported in Dorset, Dorchester, High Wycombe, Crewe and Chester so basically every point of the compass. The remainder have had every club race so far, actually had 3 of them drop with the winners on one occasion when we took 1st four positions in club (we had 10 of ours drop together from a full team "Emptied the shed" entry of 23 when approx 18 club members sent 367birds) and our last race 9th May we actually had 3 of the latebreds together (lost a bt of time on the trap) and got beat by approx 10ypm in a very tight race from almost 400birds finishing 11th, 12th, 13th club So overall cannot complain, and will certainly be doing the same again this year. We have actually got them paired up now and have them down on eggs now (approx 5days now) and actually sending 3 of the October babies to the NFC Fougeres race this weekend, approx 216mile to us Watch this space????????
  10. I have TIPES and cannot fault it, not the most popular but a fantastic system and easy to use I actually have mine walking into loft over a drop down board with pad underneath the platform (no tunnels etc) and records no problem Did have a minor problem on 1st race with the compatability with the Bricon master club system, apparently Bricon have now sent out a further update and should be compatable again.
  11. Hi Bob, dont worry mate they will be ok, they just enjoying thier freedom obviously the home environment has changed since they were last out, with hindsight you may have been better letting the cocks out when driving (more incentive to get back in the loft when chasing hen) But they will be ok, hens will continously sit overnight if worse comes to worst and some do stay out are you trapping through open door or traps?
