  11. i was a bit sceptical of that but over the past 2 to 3 seasons i have changed my views and would now tend to agree with you, another reason i think to is fanciers are breeding much more now to compensate for the bop taking their share and obviously with the more birds more losses law of averages i recon
  12. looks affa like it, i see another young bird on the roof now looking well lost?? ave well over 20 so far , my theory and am sticking to is that there are 4 lads here within a few doors of one another here that race the doos and the youngsters are being pulled in with the birds when they are out!! can be well over 100 birds exercising at the same time??

  21. if it says not to use on birds it will be for good reason i would say, possibly to concentrated for the birds but thats only my thoughts, try johnsons lice n mite spray does the trick for me, there are hundreds to choose from that work equally as well
  22. all our birds are wing stamped in our club either with the secretaries number or members own,
  23. i have over the 3 weeks had over 15 young birds drop into my loft all NE prefix only 3 of the birds have been wing stamped, for the sake of a few pounds for a phone number it could be all so much easier calling the fancier direct & having the birds returned as they have pretty much been local saving the hastle of contacting club secretaries in turn chasing up the fanciers?? if my memory serves me correctly it is a shu ruling that all young birds are wing stamped before commencing racing?? has any fancier been disciplined for non stamping of Y/Bs ?? does the same rule apply in the other unions in the uk regarding young birds?
  24. my ring numbers are very similar but i have the prefix NE on my rings
  25. 16 / 18 from thornton 105 miles, some others not fairing so well though
