Invincible Spirit once held the world record price at £110,800 pounds for a racing pigeon and like the rest of the athletes referred to in this article proved to be a producer as well of long distance and marathon racers. took this off a website
well see in this sport who is actually the decision makers who has the power to make the call surely the governing bodies know whats been sed on the forums and know thereselve whats needed why is nothing done to promote the sport to make it popular again
i believe big races like Germany and the likes are what will bring people back to the pigeon game and promote the sport more can you imagine like a uk national what would the birdages be they would be massive
I would like to think it could just be one national i know if i was ever lucky enough to win a national i would rather it was the whole of scotland than only a part of it
I'm looking for a wee bit of advice again lol im looking to change my loft set up im getting rid of the sputniks and thinking of jast having one big landing board right accross the front and then a hole in each section for the birds to get back in through bob wires then im going to build an 8 ft section for next years young birds. does anyone think the sputniks are better than bob wires and do you think its better to have a big landing board I'm also going to put floor grills in too does anyone know were you can get the metal grills iv saw them in a few doocots Ive had to rethink my loft because i was going to be getting one of someone but i canny see it happn anytime soon
