  1. I know mate but i weaned them later than i should have but ive had them out in the cage and they have a little view bit on the loft front
  2. aye true Frank a think im just bursting to get birds out flying? I could do that with the younger ones putting them on the board but there is one or two that is going to the top boxes
  3. A dont think the youngsters will get off the loft to be honest but i might leave it to Sunday now

  7. I might be getting some latebreds at the end of the season m8! I think I might be alright if I get the other 5 moved across and the other 8 hatch there's 20 so and by that time I could have a could have a couple more pairs down or on there second round. Can ye take 3 rounds from your ob a don't plan on racing them
  8. I would be happy with about 25 m8 I'm no looking to have a massive team just enough that I can enjoy a cpple of races and take a few over for next season then I will happy.

  12. No mate i got a lot of help last year gifted almost 30 birds the ones that are left are the ones im breeding from so i dont want to ask again i will just have to breed what i can breed and if it meens i only get one or 2 races then it will be one or two races more than last year

  14. I know was thinking the same mate i have 8 eggs just now providing they all hatch on top of that but allready i hav had 4 nests with jsut one egg hatch! Ahh fk it it is what it is
  15. How many yb's do you realistically think you need for to enjoy a yb season and have enough for the year after?? The reason im asking is so far i have only managed to wean 7 and with 5 more in the nest and a few more on eggs so getting a bit worried

  17. When is it okay to feed titbits and whats the best to feed them something that will get them eating out my hand
  18. I hated letting my young birds out for the first few weeks last year and im not looking forward to it this year either sitting on roofs flying in all direction if you loss any etc
  19. Hope you get this sorted mate sounds serious! Personally i would not let them out keep them away from any other birds in the loft and get to a vet ASAP you dont want your season finished before it even starts ATB

  24. Didnt think i would have much of a problem at my new house but after speaking to a neighbour who has fantails and tumblers etc he said he has lost 5 to peregrines this year alone so not really looking forward to letting my youngbirds out!!!!!
